Picnics are fun. Our family, we have picnic sessions at least twice a month, especially during summer. We love seeing the boys throwing Frisbees and just having fun. However, there’s one bit that we don’t really like – lugging around baskets of food and a table.
I’ve been complaining about it for a long time. My ever-patient husband must have finally had enough that he quietly went to work. He made a picnic basket that converts into a picnic table. I was so happy!
He saw a DIY picnic table project that made use of a suitcase. It was great because we had several hard-shell suitcases that we weren’t using. He just added some table legs and leg braces and it was done in less than a day. The result was amazing. Picnics are now more convenient!
