My teenage daughter is obsessed with DIY projects. She has taken on several decorating tasks using inspiration she got from one particular site. I encourage this creative side of her. In fact, her father and I are very thankful that she does things by herself. This means we get to save money.
One of the most recent projects that she fell in love with is a LOVE Shelf. It’s actually as the name implies – the word love spelled out and turned into a shelf. It’s charming, actually. And I like the vintage, shabby-chic feel of it. And so with the help of my husband’s carpentry skills, the father-daughter duo went to work.
I must admit, the shelf looks beautiful in her bedroom. In fact, her younger sister has requested for a similar shelf. I’m not one to oppose such a nice idea. Why don’t you try it out? It’s inexpensive, beautiful, and can be used as storage, too!
