Turn a cutlery tray into a jewelry organizer

Need to organize your jewelries/accessories? Here’s a nice and easy repurposing project for you!

Repurposed Silverware Tray Jewelry Holder

Search your favorite local thrift store for an old wooden cutlery or silverware tray as it makes a great jewelry and accessory holder!

You’ll be amazed at how many pieces of jewelry even a small silverware tray can hold. The little ‘shelves’ the dividers make can be used for storing jewelry boxes, earrings or rings. You can also use cut-out handles (if any) for holding clasp bracelets and watches!

Simply repaint the silverware tray to suit your style or room, and add hooks to hang your necklaces, earrings and bracelets from. It’s that easy! Just make sure not to install too many hooks in each compartment since you don’t want your accessories to get all tangled.

You can put your beautiful jewelry ogranizer on your vanity table if you have enough space. But what’s better is to have them hanging on a wall where you usually dress up, or hang them on the side of your closet. Now you have an easy-access, space-saving and inexpensive jewelry organizer.

Think a small or regular-sized silverware tray won’t be able to hold all your accessories? Why not look for two or three old silverware trays! :)
