The lack of space can be a real challenge especially when it comes to storage. The key is in your ability to explore all possibilities – every nook and cranny must be put to good use. Also, learn to look for alternatives to bulky furniture. The more you can minimize the use of space, the better it is for you.
One great example is this: instead of getting a shoe rack, get an under bed shoe organizer instead. A rack will take up a lot of space – space which you can still use for other things. The underside of the bed, on one hand, is free space. Use this to your advantage.
You can take it a step higher by building one yourself. It’s less expensive than store-bought ones. Plus, you get to customize as to how many holes you need to fit all your shoes. If you’re a beginner on woodworking, this is a great project for you.
