I stumbled upon this genius piece of an idea coming from someone who calls himself “RushNafikov” on Instructables. It’s for a do-it-yourself beverage dispenser perfect for when hosting a party or simply as an added feature to your home bar.

Some of the materials needed here may come from recycled stuff, such as the wood used as a base, a wine cork, and a bottle cap. The other materials, like those used in plumbing, need to be brand new, just to be on the safe side.

You’ll need these materials:

  • two wooden planks for the base
  • 4 screws
  • bottle cap
  • Liquor/beverage bottle
  • Glue
  • Polycrylic finish
  • Sandpaper
  • Spray paint (optional)
  • ¾ inch garden hose faucet
  • wine cork

    • brass straight tee ¾ inch,
    • brass 1 inch to ¾ inch reducer
    • steel ¾ inch flange
    • ¾ inch brass female to female connector,

And these tools:
