Make your Christmas tree base sturdy and pretty!

Got cats and/or kids that always knock your Christmas tree across your living room floor? Make your Christmas tree “tip-proof” with this DIY project!

Christmas Tree Base

This clever idea doesn’t only prevent fallen trees and shattered glass ornaments, it can also make an ugly Christmas tree base look attractive!

You can use any material that you want for this project. A cardboard box covered with a gift wrapper, a box made from scrap timber, an old tire, excess ribbons and fabric – anything that you already have available. ;)

With just a little bit of paint, glue and arranging, your Christmas tree will not only be safe from climbing cats and naughty little kids but it will also look pretty and unique!

Check out our gallery of Christmas tree base ideas below and be inspired to decorate now :)
