Build a convertible step stool

Convertible Step Stool

Wood is such an approachable material – it surrounds us. Yet for some reason, woodworking seems out of reach for many people. We need to change that!

Yes, this furniture item can be found in stores. But if you are a woodworking enthusiast, then this DIY project is a great exercise to improve your woodworking skills!

Building this convertible step stool chair requires a number of advanced tools which is why it’s a good project for honing your skills. You get to use the jigsaw and different routers as well as learn how to be more accurate with measurements and cutting.

What’s even better is that this DIY project doesn’t need a lot of timber. So if you’ve got a stock of good but relatively small pieces of wood, this is the perfect opportunity to use them!
